In order to make your visit pleasant and carefree and to ensure that you are protected as best as possible against infection with the corona virus, we implement the following safety measures:

COVID certificate
Access to the museum is only possible on presentation of a COVID certificate together with a valid identity card with photo. The Covid certificate is checked using the «COVID Certificate Check» app. The certificate requirement applies to visitors aged 16 and over. In addition to the Swiss COVID certificate, certificates from EU and EFTA countries are also accepted. These must be readable with the «COVID Certificate Check» app.

For regular museum visits, masks are not required in the publicly accessible interior rooms after a successful certificate check. Only in the reception area/museum shop a mask must be worn. Exceptions: The mask obligation applies to children between 12 and 16 years of age and when participating in individual events (in addition to the certificate obligation).

For most public events you have to register via the museum's website. The number of seats is limited due to the different room sizes. For some events, in addition to the certificate requirement, there is also a mask requirement.

Social distance
It is advisable to keep a distance of 1.5 metres despite the certificate requirement.

Veranda Café (indoor area)
No certificate is required for take-away consumption. Masks are compulsory in the indoor area and the distance of 1.5 metres must be observed.
Our guests are requested to stay in the Veranda Café only as long as necessary and, after serving themselves, to consume outside; there are no seats available.

Terrace and park
There is no mask or certificate requirement on the terrace and in the park.

We regularly disinfect all neuralgic places and surfaces. Tablets and smartphones for audio guides are disinfected after each use. You are given the opportunity to disinfect your hands before visiting the building and in the WCs. The rooms are aired regularly.

Employees and placement staff
All employees of the Museum Langmatt have a valid certificate. Our team works in compliance with the protection concept. This is constantly adapted to the current behavioural and hygiene guidelines of the federal government, the canton of Aargau, the VMS (Association of Museums in Switzerland) and the GastroSuisse association.

We kindly ask you to refrain from visiting the Museum Langmatt if you have cold symptoms or feel unwell.
