Once again, engines are roaring at Langmatt. In collaboration with the Museum Langmatt, the Classic Car Club Safenwil and Emil Frey Classics present the 5th Langmatt Motor Classics. This very special oldtimer car meet is a gathering of historic cars outside the art nouveau villa, harking back to one of the great passions of the Brown family, the builders of the Langmatt and founding family of the BBC, today the ABB. The tours, which are popular with the public, take place.
Short tours giving a history of the Langmatt and its famous collection of French Impressionist paintings will be held. There is an all-day children’s program. A prosecco bar, the veranda café and the “Food Truckli” provide for other needs. Parking for guest oldtimer cars is provided in the field in front of the Gardener’s House.
Saturday, 28th November 2020, 12.00 to 18.00
For the forth time now, the Museum Langmatt is holding a very special Christmas market. A number of market stands will appear in the wonderful winter atmosphere of the decorated park, against the historic backdrop of the museum. In addition to craft items, which are mostly local to the region, the market stallholders will offer culinary delicacies. Mulled wine will also be supplied.
A program for the children, featuring biscuit decoration in the studio and advent stories in the bathhouse, provides an enchanting winter atmosphere for our smaller guests. Let yourself be enchanted by the decorated Christmas tree, the sea of lights, the winter market, and the captivating children’s stories.
Entry, including entry to the museum, is free. The museum is open until 18.00.
Saturday, 11th April 2020, 15.00

This event takes place in all weathers. Please bring your own Easter baskets.
